Adobe users plan to get Photoshop Photography Express and Premiere Rush for free starting next week

Adobe announced that starting next week, Adobe is adding Adobe Premiere Rush and Adobe Photoshop Express applications in the Creative Cloud Photography plan no additional cost. Photoshop Express is a simple image editing app for iOS and Android devices. Premiere Rush is a basic video editing application available for mobile and desktop operating systems.

Photoshop Express (AKA “PS Express”) has been around for a while now and is a mobile app that lets you make quick and easy edits to photos. Obviously, it doesn’t come close to Photoshop’s capabilities, although it does offer some features that Lightroom for mobile doesn’t – although I suspect many photographers stick with the latter.

PS Express is available on iOS, Android and Windows mobile devices and allows you to apply filters called “appearances” as well as various adjustment and correction options to modify the images taken by the mobile device’s camera. – itself or through your DSLR or mirrorless camera and transferred to the device. It also allows certain composing capabilities.

Premiere Rush, on the other hand, is designed for video. It’s a far cry from the capabilities of Premiere Pro, but it does offer a decent range of editing options that let you quickly and easily edit videos together on your smartphone, tablet, or even desktop device. It’s definitely a better range of options than what you get in most social media apps that support video.

Originally launched in 2018, Rush has extended Premiere Rush, as well as support for its devices, to offer a fairly powerful mobile video editing tool. You can even sync your Premiere Rush projects to your Adobe Creative Cloud account so you can continue editing them in Premiere Pro on your desktop.

Exactly what’s going to change in the apps or exactly why they are included in the photography package I’m not sure given that both apps were already free. Maybe they’re just including them to make them easier for users to find – or maybe it’s a way to make the package even more appealing to new customers, although those customers have free access to Photoshop. Express and Premiere Rush without a CC account. .

Either way, they’ll be included in the photography plan starting next week.

If you want to subscribe to Adobe’s Creative Cloud plan for photography, you can do it from $ 9.99 / month for the 20GB cloud plan or $ 19.99 / month for the 1TB cloud plan.
