Audubon Nature Photography Club Meeting Thursday, June 9 | News, Sports, Jobs


This photograph, “Reflections,” was taken in a roadside pond in New York’s Adirondacks State Park by Audubon Nature Photography Club Co-President John Brustrom. “Reflections” is one of the themes for the members’ slideshow at the Club meeting on Thursday evening June 9th. The public is welcome.

The next monthly meeting of the Jamestown Audubon Nature Photography Club will be Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Audubon Community Nature Center.

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome to attend the meeting which is open to the public.

Short video presentations will be shown on July themes “Time” and “Swamps.”

Tuesday is the deadline for members to submit photos for the Members Slideshow to [email protected] Up to three photos per person can be submitted under the Reflections and Sharing theme. Only one photo per person can be submitted to the Help topic.

From June, Judy Whittaker, director of the Ellington Farman Library in Ellington, will ask lub members to take turns showing their photos. Different photographers will present their work each month until December 2022.

Randolph’s Randolph Library held an exhibit of its members’ photographs on the theme of “Summer” during the month of May.

A members and family picnic will be held during the month of August and meetings will resume in September.

A rolling list of presentations by members for the coming year features photographic journeys and hands-on demonstrations of photographic techniques.

Masks are recommended inside the Center de la nature building.
