Audubon Nature Photography Club meets Thursday | News, Sports, Jobs

This photograph of a barn in winter was taken by Don Armstrong, a member of the Audubon Nature Photography Club. Foreground Snow is one of the themes in the member’s slideshow at the club meeting next Thursday.

The next meeting of the Audubon Nature Photography Club is Thursday at 6:15 p.m. in the multipurpose room of the Audubon Community Nature Center.

Visitors are welcome.

Membership slideshow topics for December are up to three per person for Foreground Snow, Icicles / Frost, and Story, and one per person for Help. To be included, photo submissions must be emailed to [email protected] by Tuesday.

The documents will list the monthly themes for 2022 that were determined in a brainstorming session. A list of current presentations by members for the coming year will include photographic trips and hands-on demonstrations of photographic techniques. A document from Audubon’s program of events in December will inform attendees of the photo opportunities.

The Falconer Public Library will host a member photo exhibit during the month of February 2022. Exhibit hours and reception for photographers will be announced at a later date.

This reunion will include the annual Christmas party, with an exchange of framed and wrapped photos for members only. Meetings will be zoomed in January and February 2022.

Face coverings are compulsory. To review Audubon’s most up-to-date COVID-19 requirements, which include information on face covers and collection limitations, visit AudubonCNC.org and read the COVID-19 advisory at the top of the page.
