Online Web Coordinator – Ecommerce Photography Retail

HYPOP is an online photographic equipment retailer based in Sydney (Alexandria). We offer complete lighting, video and studio solutions to a range of businesses, enterprises, education, government and end users including social media influencers. We also have an in-house brand SPECTRUM which caters to beginners and intermediate level users stocking photography lights and backdrops.

Work?

We are currently looking for a talented Assistant Marketing Manager who will manage day-to-day content for the Hypop website, eBay, Amazon, Catch, Kogan, MyDeal and our sister sites: Hypop Studio, Gariz Australia and Spectrum. Someone who can handle tough situations and is comfortable working in a small, fun, young team that also includes our dog Kenji (Shiba Inu), as well as someone who is above all a keen interest for the photography industry, our brand and our customers. You will work closely with our marketing manager, online freelancers and directors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for Shopify store and omnichannel management
  • Ensure a consistent look and feel across the entire website, ranging from promoting uniformity fonts, product descriptions, product configuration across multiple platforms, front-end navigation, blog and Layout.
  • Manage and maintain the site; download a new product; edit and revise product information and images as needed, remove/move discontinued items.
  • Ensure that products and prices are always accurate
  • Ensure all categories and pages are marketed and displayed in the best order to maximize customer engagement and conversion
  • Create and nurture collections consistent with merchandising and marketing activities
  • Manage the customer journey and user experience
  • Copyright and Support for Product Descriptions
  • Help verify and upload content and images for Shopify
  • Report content performance and participate in improvements
  • Work with the marketing team to help set up sales and products on all platforms used for selling (Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon, Facebook, Instagram, eBay, etc.)
  • Update, verify and assign product attributes (sizes, prices, color, collections, SEO, barcode, Google attributes, etc.)
  • Ensure that product information and branding on the website and omnichannel channels such as eBay and Amazon are consistent with each other.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute product launches, major sales and warehouse execution
  • Manage demo and sample stock ensuring it is organized on the shelf and uploaded online
  • Ensure the best proactive SEO is used
  • Daily monitoring and optimization of search terms and featured products is relevant for customers with inventory to drive additional sales
  • Work in conjunction with the Marketing and Content team to develop all website creative briefs
