Located in Sodo, just across the bridge!!!
We run a growing eBay business and are looking for someone to help run our warehouse. The core of the job is shipping packages, but also includes product photography, shelving items, taking inventory, answering online questions, and more. If you’re into vintage items, you’ll love the variety of things you’ll be exposed to.
The work is part-time, with a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week but an expected schedule of 20 hours. Plus, there are plenty of overtime and commission opportunities.
Would make a great side gig, retirement project or an opportunity to learn the ropes in a successful ebay business.
We will train you, but after that much of the work will be done solo, so candidates must be self-sufficient. The main qualifications we are looking for:
Includes customer service
Has its own means of transport
Can lift up to 75 pounds
Job responsibilities include:
Locate and ship parcels on time
Photograph products online
Carrying out inventory
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Filing Insurance Claims for Shipping Damage
Order supplies as needed
Answer customer questions about products
Ultimately want to train in the whole registration process
We offer $17.50/hour plus a 3% match to IRA savings through our payroll provider. And, hours are flexible, no fixed working hours as long as delivery criteria are met (although this requires at least 3 days in the warehouse per week).
Additionally, we do regular house cleaning (which is more labor intensive work) which pays $20/hour. Not to mention other parts of the business, like making real estate sales, that regularly require help.
We also offer support and mentorship in setting up your own ebay business. There are plenty of opportunities here for an entrepreneur candidate who is ready to roll up their sleeves and commit to our business.
Please respond with a note explaining why you are interested in this position and why you believe you will be successful in this role.
